Nigeria’s e-health start-up company, Helium Health joins the list of digital platforms to be an African-based parent company acquiring Meddy from overseas as its subsidiary, Techbooky writes. Helium Health confirmed the deal also serves as expansion beyond Africa, towards the middle east of Asia.

Helium’s acquisition is reportedly a lucrative expansion, whereby Meddy operates mutually with its new parent company — an e-health doctor booking platform. Just as the Nigerian-based e-health telemedicine platform currently rules UAE’s e-health industry, management control of Helium’s high-end operations is intertwined with its subsidiary.

Helium discreetly shared updates about Meddy’s acquisition without revealing the worth of the deal. Since Helium’s offer reserved an executive seat for Meddy — neither of them disclosed in-depth details about their business. Helium Health is entitled to east Asia’s Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) benefit as one of its council members.

“Beyond the actual product and market opportunity, what made this possible was the composition of the team,” per Helium Health’s chief executive, Adegoke Olubusi, comment about being a parent company and how the contract made them realize they have “executed the fact that they share a DNA and culture that’s very similar to Helium Health.”

In contrast with Africa’s digital economy, east Asia’s digital economy is reportedly lucrative as a top-notch industry. Helium’s operation across both regions is expected to encounter surplus growth in revenue, which will also bolster Africa’s digital economy.

The Nigerian-based e-health doctor booking platform started with a simple telemedicine service that offers healthcare solutions to Africa and has evolved overtime with fintech operations and other healthcare-related services. The modified Helium Heath can process significant health-related options, including HeliumDoc, Helium Credit, and HeliumPay.

Helium Health has gained remarkable growth with telemedicine solutions overtime to deserve an overrule in UAE’s e-health industry. With Nigeria as its domestic country, Helium has significantly introduced health solutions to five other pan-African countries. Olubusi also boasted of certified doctors managing the affairs of more than 500 healthcare facilities in Africa which is expected to increase across middle eastern Asia.

Helium Health’s telemedicine solution majorly focuses on electronic medical records (EMR) and hospital management solutions. However, Meddy also administers accurate e-health doctor bookings solutions that interest Helium. Helium Heath is currently on the edge to attain a wide range of soluble B2B telemedicine solutions whereby Meddy is a professional with e-health marketing.
